COMMON TYPES OF CONCENTRATES
Of the few types of concentrates with varying CBD and terpene content, there are limited concentrates that may be used in commercial production. These types can commonly be referred to as broad spectrum, full spectrum, or CBD isolate. Listed below, you can find information on the specifics of each, and the ways in which they differ from one another. While they all may sound very similar, they are in fact quite different, and have individual properties that set them apart from one another.
This is the purest form of the CBD compound. This concentrated compound is created by extracting the CBD from the hemp, and isolating it from any other compounds and impurities. However, this means that all forms of terpenes, flavonoids, and other cannabinoids are also removed, leaving only a concentrated CBD remaining.
REMEMBER! Before you buy CBD isolate, consider these questions:
- Why do you need pure CBD isolate?
- Is it because you need a product with ZERO THC?
- Do you think 99.9% CBD is stronger than a lesser percent?
- Did you know that Full Spectrum Oil is much more effective than isolated CBD?
- Have you ever read about the Entourage Effect?
Full Spectrum CBD is a form of CBD in which all of the compounds naturally found in the plant (including terpenes, oils, and other cannabinoids) are left in the created oil. The full spectrum of substances in the compound work together to help magnify the effects of the produced CBD oil. What this means is that of the effects that are produced by each individual strain, their effects will be amplified and more concentrated. However, because all of the compounds in the hemp are kept, it also means that THC is present in the oil, and can produce psychoactive effects.
Our Full spectrum oil is derived from hemp grown only in the United States. Our flowers are locally grown in New York through our partner farms, providing high quality CBD and products. Unlike the majority of the market, saturated with low quality Chinese CBD product, our CO2 extracted, CBD flowers have a higher concentration of CBD than either European or Chinese counterparts.
- A THC-free version of this product is available
This form of CBD is a mix between Full Spectrum and CBD Isolate. Similarly to Full Spectrum, the many compounds within the CBD are preserved within the extract, however, much like CBD Isolate, the TCH is completely removed. What this means for Broad Spectrum CBD is that it can deliver many of the positive effects of CBD without the psychoactive effects of THC.
- A full spectrum version is available that contains a full range of the cannabinoids.
*Each different type of CBD has its own unique and individual properties. Because of this, some people require different kinds of CBD over others in order to suit their needs. It is best to consult a professional to see which form of CBD would be best for you, as well as the specific effects and outcomes of taking one form over another. Regardless of which form is chosen, it must be noted that no one form is necessarily better than any other. The effectiveness of each is dependent on the person, and individual preference and need.
WHAT IS CRUDE CBD OIL?
Crude CBD oil is the unrefined CBD oil extracted from the flower of the hemp plant. The hem, naturally abundant with CBD and low in THC, has many different fats and waxes in it which are commonly siphoned off during the refinement of the oil. However, in some cases, manufacturers do not refine the oil further, and sell only this crude CBD. The reason for this is because the crude CBD can have different effects than that of the refined CBD oil.
Unlike refined CBD which has a larger concentration of CBD, creating for more potent effects, crude CBD contains greater concentrations of minerals and natural waxes. These minerals allow for increased benefits in aiding the body’s immune system, and helping in the regulation of proper bodily functions.
However, crude CBD does not have all the benefits that refined CBD oil has. Because crude CBD has a smaller concentration of CBD in it, the effects that the CBD would give are lessened when compared to that of refined CBD.
Regardless of which one is chosen, both have positive effects and drawbacks. While crude CBD provides better aid for biological and bodily processes, it lacks the potency of refined CBD and thus, more crude oil is required to increase concentrations. Whichever product is chosen is entirely dependent on your business needs.
*It is important that you consult with a professional in deciding the best product for you. Whether your choice be crude CBD or refined, its best to get it from professionals who know how to do it right.
